Ayurveda

I want to learn about Ayurveda in India ( even in UK ).
But didn’t tell my husband yet ;

Ayurvedic medicine — also known as Ayurveda — is one of the world’s oldest holistic (whole-body) healing systems. It developed thousands of years ago in India.

It is based on the belief that health and wellness depend on a delicate balance between the mind, body, and spirit. The primary focus of Ayurvedic medicine is to promote good health, rather than fight disease. But treatments may be recommended for specific health problems.

If I learn more about ayurveda, I can do something work as therapist.
Don’t you think ??

Yukata

It’s Yukata season coming in Japan !

Yukata is an informal, unlined kimono made of cotton and worn with a narrow sash (obi). It is usually worn to the bath or in the summertime. Unlike ceremonial kimono.

yukata is casual and comfortable to wear.
It can be worn next to the skin. Wooden clogs (geta) are usually worn without Japanese socks (tabi) when wearing yukata. Since it is considered very casual, it is not supposed to be worn on formal occasions.

The name “yukata” comes from the word “yu (bath)” and “katabira (under-clothing)”.

The World’s Best Diet

I watched TV ( Channnel4 ) 3 weeks ago, it was
” The World’s Best Diet “.

Jimmy Doherty and Kate Quilton explore some of the world’s most varied diets.

They travel around the globe, examining the dietary habits of countries, tribal people and communities, revealing how eating habits across the planet have changed radically over the last 50 years, and how this has affected our health.

I believed Japan become No.1 or 2, BUT it was No.5 !!?? Why ?

Umbrella

Why British don’t take umbrellas with them ?

Because it’s not cool ? or,
British people are more used to wet weather than other parts in the world ?

When I lived in Japan, I have a lot’s of umbrellas.
I have two now, and these are all broken ( ! ), very poor quality ; I need to take Japanese umbrellas with me when I back to Japan next time.

Karate meaning

Karate is Kanji-Chinese characters word meaning ‘empty hand’ meaning that someone who is trained in karate can defend himself or herself without using weapons.

The sport is known for fast, powerful kicks and punches and the fact that it trains the body on how to get the most power out of it.

You know ,,,, I know Karate mean, but didn’t know Karate’s creed, or Karate’s heart ( soul ), I need to lern about them.

About GP

My friend asked me about GP.
She MAYBE got serious sick.
I checked it and  it says :

If you would like a second opinion after receiving advice from your GP, you can ask them to refer you to another GP.

Alternatively, you may consider asking to see a different GP at your surgery, if you’re registered at a surgery with more than one GP, or changing to a different GP surgery.

Yes, she worry about GP in UK and she want to go to another doctor.
It’s her choice, just I worry about her.
